Halloween, halloween, halloween night!

It was a busy day that included a trip to the museum, a large pot of homemade chili and some last minute pumpkin carving! We opted to stay in our hood and keep it a family affair this year and it was the best Halloween yet! Our street and hood was hopping with kids. The local firemen and ambulance brought their trucks right up our streets giving extra light, security and a thrill to the busy little tick or treaters. We did stay clear of the zombie parade that was happening one block over but it was really cool to hear them blasting Thriller as we skipped house to house.

We ran into many friends in the streets, we happened upon homes and were welcomed by acquaintances from the park and grocery store and even swung by the home of our dear friends for a bathroom break. The little pea declared the day better than her birthday.

After filling her belly with as much sugar as she could, she willing left her huge bowl of candy on the kitchen table for the great pumpkin to take. She was thrilled to discover the candy gone the next morning and in it's place?

Why, a new princess doll, a pony and some stickers.

Mom and dad were just happy to see the candy GONE!

OH! and how was little peanut's first Halloween you ask? He slept through almost the whole event! Our little man looked so cute in the stroller in his bear hat. A perfect patient for Dr. Pea, veterinarian and animal lover.
